43rd CSMC Meeting: 5,60,695 houses sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban)

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) or ‘Housing for all’ is a housing scheme for all the people who belong to lower income group, economically weaker section and Middle Income Group in India. Launched in 2015, the scheme is divided into two parts, PMAY (Urban) and PMAY (Gramin).
